Gmail封杀Greasemonkey
Greasemonkey是一个Firefox的Extension扩展，可以让使用者随意改变修改网页Javascript。严格来说，Greasemonkey和AJAX一样都不是新技术，但是Greasemonkey提供全自动化的服务，并且强化管理，功能强大，引起很多网站的不满。作为此中软件，他们早该料到这种结果。
但正因为其自由度过高，使用者可以借此由Greasemonkey完成的个人划浏览效果非常多，包括阻止广告、更改介面、甚至修改链接等等，因此也招來多方面的反感，越来越强烈，现在Gmail也正式向其用户进行严格的『警告措施』，凡安装任何有关修改Gmail的Greasemonkey扩展和插件的用户即日起会遭受查封其帳戶的处分，直到用户将其安装的Greasemonkey删除为止，才有可能解冻。
